Our mission is to fulfill, to the best of our ability, our general theme: “Called According to His Purpose.”
Our theme is grounded in Romans 8:28 (KJV):
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
As we grow in our understanding of who we are, what we are called to do, and where God is leading us, we can move forward with confidence. With faith in the Almighty and a willingness to work together, we believe we can accomplish great things for the Kingdom of God.

Our vision is for the Congress of Christian Education to serve as the educational engine of the High Point Educational and Missionary Baptist Association, promoting the importance of education in ministry and encouraging continuous spiritual and intellectual growth.
We embrace the principle that “The more we know, the more we grow.” Through Christian education, we seek to deepen our understanding of God's Word, strengthen our faith, and become better equipped to serve His people.
Hosea 4:6 (KJV) reminds us:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee...”
This scripture underscores the importance of knowledge, understanding, and spiritual growth. Our vision is to create opportunities for learning that will empower our members, strengthen our churches, and prepare future generations for faithful Christian leadership.

Our purpose is to work collaboratively with our partners in the Youth and Children's TRAC Team, along with all other auxiliaries of the HPEMBA, with a special emphasis on the spiritual development, education, and empowerment of our youth and children.

Our purpose is to work collaboratively with our partners in the Youth and Children's TRAC Team, along with all other auxiliaries of the HPEMBA, with a special emphasis on the spiritual development, education, and empowerment of our youth and children.
For many years, we have heard the expression that our youth are the church of tomorrow. However, we must recognize that our youth are also the church of today. If we fail to teach, train, mentor, and involve them in the life of the church now, we risk weakening the future of the church.
Proverbs 22:6 (KJV) instructs us:
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
As a ministry of education, we have a responsibility to help fulfill this biblical mandate by providing guidance, instruction, encouragement, and opportunities for growth. This responsibility extends beyond children and young people to include individuals of every age who desire to grow in faith, knowledge, and service.
Through intentional partnerships and meaningful educational opportunities, we will work to build a stronger, more knowledgeable, and spiritually grounded church for generations to come.
Our goal is to fulfill our calling as the educational arm of the HPEMBA by promoting an environment where no one is left behind in the pursuit of Christian education and spiritual growth.
We are committed to assisting members, churches, and auxiliaries throughout the Association with their educational needs whenever and wherever we are able. Through collaboration, teaching, training, and service, we will strive to make Christian education accessible, meaningful, and beneficial to all.
We will continue to stand on the principle that “The more we know, the more we grow.” Our desire is to leave a lasting legacy that reflects teamwork, dedication, compassion, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
I firmly believe that no leader accomplishes great things alone. Success comes through the strength, commitment, and cooperation of a dedicated team working toward a common purpose.
There is an old saying that speaks directly to this belief: “A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.” Therefore, my goal and heartfelt desire as President of the Congress of Christian Education is to help build a strong and united chain—one in which every member is valued, every opportunity for growth is embraced, and every effort is made to strengthen the whole.
As we serve during this 2025–2029 term, may our work lay a solid foundation for the next administration and help prepare them to carry forward the important responsibility of educating God's people.
May we remain faithful to our calling, united in our efforts, and committed to the work God has placed before us.
Together, let us learn, grow, serve, and fulfill our calling according to His purpose.
Amen!
Sincerely,
The Congress of Christian Education (CCE) and Youth/Children's TRAC Team
